THIS IS A CUSTOM KIT

To most car audio guys, it's common knowledge that Alpine does not sell recone parts or kits for their Type R line of subwoofers. This is a custom kit that includes all the needed parts and adhesives to do your own custom repair of your Alpine Type R 10" subwoofers such as the SWR-1042D. Coil is an upgrade for the SWR-1041D.

**NOTES**

#1 - You MUST reuse your original terminal ring, cone, and surround.
#2 - If you can successfully remove your old dust cap; you can retain the subs original look. Otherwise we have included a nice poly dustcap for a sweet custom look.
#3 - Kit includes all the adhesives, shims, and wires needed.
#4 - This is NOT a drop-in kit - this is a professional kit.
#5 - Instructions are not included, but there are several videos online with instructions on how to recone a speaker.

1 - Heavy-duty 2" dual 4 Ohm voice coil custom-wound on black aluminum former
2 - Heavy-duty spiders (correctly-sized)
1 - 6.5" poly subwoofer dust cap
1 - Bottle of professional-grade CA Adhesive (for voice coil)
1 - Spray bottle of CA Adhesive Activator
1 - Bottle of professional-grade black rubber speaker adhesive
8 - Large speaker shims
2 - Tin application brushes
2 Ft of lead wire rated up to 1600W peak
2 Lengths of shrink tube for coating your new leads
