Thank you for the awesome new Butyl rubber surrounds! Your packaging, contents, and directions made for a very straight forward project. I repaired two woofers on our 1990s electric piano at home and now it sounds great! I feel a total sense of satisfaction, saved money, and learned that I can confidently refoam speakers! Great fit for my NHT Outdoor One speakers

Discovered the rubber surrounds on my old NHT Outdoor 1’s had deteriorated to the point that they made mechanical noises at times. These rubber surrounds fit perfectly. You need to remove the old surrounds carefully, especially from the cone, using a “skinning†like motion with an Exacto knife to remove the old rubber surround. The included instructions were excellent in how to glue the new surrounds on. For the back mounted NHT’s, I use 3/8†round foam weather stripping to seal the speaker back into the case since I wasn’t able to find a suitable replacement gasket. This is the closest fit for this small coned 6.5†rubber surround speaker and it works great.
